One of the most exciting things was the mix of attendees. From retired HRD skaters, rec league skaters, former skaters, never skated before and used-to-artist-skate. plus a few potential refs, or unknowing derby widows supporting their spouses.</p> <p>Unfortunately Rosie and Tex couldn&#8217;t chat with everyone to get to know each other a little better. However, I think Tex might have something up her sleeve to remedy that.</p> <p>With derby season season kicking off already, I&#8217;m looking forward to what 2013 has to offer.
